Conditions

Beautiful sunny day, light breeze. Climbed in the morning before it got too hot.

Notes

These stairs are quite challenging! The stone steps are uneven in places, so watch your footing. The climb took about 20 minutes at a moderate pace with a couple of short breaks. The view from the top is absolutely worth the effort.

The stairs wind through a wooded area, providing shade for most of the climb. About halfway up, there's a small clearing with a bench - perfect for a water break.

Tips

  • Start early in the day to avoid heat
  • Bring plenty of water
  • Wear good hiking shoes - the stone can be slippery when wet
  • Take your time and enjoy the surroundings
  • The descent is easier on the cardiovascular system but harder on the knees
